Sweetfin is a dedicated gluten-free poke restaurant. The entire menu and kitchen are completely without gluten. Sweetfin is a true rarity in the restaurant industry. In the gluten free, and particularly the Celiac community, a gem. 

The fish, veggies, and sauce are so fresh and delicious. Some in Hawaii would say the bowls are “broke da mouth.” The menu offers a variety of options for all different tastes, preferences, and dietary needs. In addition to fish; there are chicken, vegetarian, vegan, and children’s options. Not only does Sweetfin’s menu offer signature dishes but build your own bowls, bento boxes and poke burritos. 

According to their website, “Our culinary philosophy is centered in our ‘Pole to Bowl’ ethos which means that in sourcing our fish we aim to use the highest-quality and most sustainable raw fish we can find while still maintaining a reasonable price point. Fresh produce is delivered daily, and we prioritize local sourcing whenever possible. Each of our locations makes all sauces from scratch. Our commitment to thoughtful sourcing and our dedication to making our menu items in-house are core to the Sweetfin culinary difference.”

Sweetfin is in a great option for every one. I love when restaurants make Celiac Safe food without making it a big deal and lead the way normalizing inclusion. Sometimes people make assumptions about gluten free food, but when done well there is no way to tell the difference. We’ve all had really bad gluten free food, but I promise this spot will not disappoint. I assure you, your gluten-eating friends and family will be pleasantly surprised. 

We enjoyed our poke bowls. The house-made taro chips the guava lemonade are not to be missed.
